1. Payment:

 

Cash/Checks are accepted. Checks can be made payable to Miranda Smith. 

 

You may choose from the following two options:

 

Monthly Payment:

Payment is due at the first lesson of the month for the entire month. Statements are provided during the last week of the month and payment is due the following week. All late payments will be assessed an additional $10.00 charge. Monthly payments offer the best prices. Additionally, if a month contains 5 weeks/lessons, the 5th is FREE!

 

Weekly Payment:

Payment is due at the beginning of each lesson. An additional $10.00 will be added to each payment/charge that isn't paid within 24 hours. Please review the rates page for weekly prices. 

 

2. Missed Lessons/Make - up Lessons:

 

If for whatever reason you know ahead of time that you're going to miss a lesson, please let me know the month before so I can bill accordingly. 24 hours notice should be given if a student is unable to attend a lesson.  If there is no 24 hour notice given, the lesson is lost. If I cancel a lesson, it will be made up. If the student is too sick and contagious the lesson will be made up. The make-up lesson must be scheduled within one month of the missed lesson. NOTE: Lessons can be taught with a common cold. Don't let the sniffles scare you away.  

 

3. Materials:

Students will need to provide a three-ring binder. Occasionally they will also need to provide blank CD's and their own sheet music. Some sheet music will be provided during the lessons, but students should be prepared to provide their own. You may choose to buy your own music or have MMS buy your music, then to be added to your monthly bill. 

 

4. Promptness 

Please arrive 5 minutes before your lesson. Knock and enter. If there is a student before you, please wait until the lesson is finished. If you are late to a lesson, those minutes will not be made up. 

 

5. Performances

Students will be given the opportunity to perform at public and private venues as they become available.  Performances can range from nursing home concerts to studio recitals. 

 

6.  Additional

Musical Mir Studios has the right to deny and/or discontinue services to any student for any reason. Reimbursement will be given to those who have pre-paid.
